Hi All I am including the pic of my power wagon. This is the "before" picture. I have tons of work, and I have gotten lots of great info from the folks here already. It's a 78 W200 club cab Has 440, 727, DANA60's front and rear.

I am very familar with your rig. I've had 2 of them. Still got 1 I should add.

One thing I notice different about yours is the way the mirror arm or "elbow" has a longer horizontal section than mine, or its at least mounted different. Anyways yours provides a wide point of view for towing a wider camper, which is a good idea.

I also spy a sliding glass window. My 79 had one, 78 doesn't. Also 78 rear side glass is fixed, 79 folds out at the rear.

Does yours have buckets or front bench? I think the "SE" package got the buckets as well as the sliding rear glass, not sure.

That's a good looking truck, especially if that's a "before" picture.

You spied right. Has extra wide "tow" mirrors. It does have rear slider, but not sure if it's original. The seats are bucket, cloth, but they look like they came out of a later date van possibly. Don't think they are original. I am actually looking for a bench seat for it and alot of other interior parts. The dash is shredded. I didn't get alot of info on the truck. It came out of an estate sale after a death. The VIN decodes to an original 400, but any way to find out if it was SE model? It has a 440 bored out with very aggresive cam. The motor and trans have low mileage on re-build. I'd like to keep the truck looking pretty stock.

That's a great looking rig you have. That's probably my favorite Dodge truck platform... big block, W-200, Club Cab with that paint/trim combo. An original CC-PW like that is rare these days as far as I'm concerned! It looks like a good buff job would make it look new.

Seems like a bench from any 72-80 truck will fit, but my club cab had a split rear bench. Regular cab trucks have a 1 piece rear.

Does the passenger side seat (all of it) tilt forward? A van seat wouldn't, it's fixed to the floor. Ramcharger & club cab buckets do tilt forward.

As to the "SE"......I wanna say the instrument panel surround is different, woodgrain vs black or silver. I can't remember which is which. Also "SE"s had a badge on the dash & possibly more "foo-foo" stuff. Someone here will post a 70's brochure that explains the trims packages a little better maybe. The VIN only tells GVW,cab/bed style,yr,2 or 4wd,tonnage, engine & assembly plant.

Your VIN probably starts out: W27BJ8S

Your rig weighs about 4700 lbs & most likely has 4.10 gears.

Nice find. Thats the spitting image of one I had for a few years before my CTD Club Cab. My nephew now has it.

What size are the tires? They look low and wide.

Thanks KRB64 The tires are 31/10.50 R16.5 They will be coming off soon. Dry rotten! Might go 33's Depending on lift and $

I'd suggest going away from the 16.5 wheels if you can when you get new tires. They don't hold a bead as well and that wheel size is getting harder to find and more expensive
