Does anyone have any experience with swapping in a 518 or 618 in place of the 727 in a 70's W200?

You would need to research if anyone makes an adapter to mate the 518 to the NP 203 transfer case. -
Research so far has not turned up any solutions.
Digging around some more.

That's the conclusion that I have come to as well. I have no idea what might be involved in swapping the T case. I suppose that if it's not a total fab from scratch it might be worth it. Any advantages to a later T case? The one in Bud sure is noisy pig. It has quite a bit of noise on both accel and decel. Only quites down on that in between, very part throttle, level ground thing. Sure would be nice to have an ODComment
