I read that the front clips from like a '78 truck will bolt onto the mid 80's cabs like my '85. Is this true? Has anyone done this and do you have pics to prove it? I do kinda like the birdbath hood but I also like the dashboard on the mid 70's trucks better,will that fit in? Like i said I'm just curious.

Yeah,but you have to change to the '70's doors also.

get the 70s cowl piece too; it just screws on, and the birdbath hood does not line up right if you dont. I have two good 70s doors if you decide to do this.

you also gotta change the RAD support or the grill dont line up with the headllights
