H/D dana 44 hubs

So... I have a '77 M880 that is just begging for the dana 70 rear I have handy, pretty much a bolt in. The question is though, can the H/D front hubs be adapted to the dana 44? Or should I just run wheel spacers in the front to get the right offset for the dually wheels? And how much offset would I need?

i dont think they can , you could do spacers last time i bought spacers they were 600.00 bucks they were steel stay away from aluminum there junk .
you could find a d60 with locking hubs and put it under it .

they never made a dana 44 HD in dually config / only dana 60,s
