    Ron - I have not had time to tear the parts truck apart so it is still relatively complete. Let me know if you need something...I'll see what I can do. It does have a rear chrome bumper but, as you know, it's not as nice as the one you purchased for the front. If you are looking for carpet, I purchased a rubber mat from these guys and I was very pleased with price and quality. They have carpet in a lot of colors as well as rubber mats.

      I've seen several vendors on ebay with carpet but none with mats,. I emailed asking for a price and availability. Carpet is nice, in your house. With a truck it's nice once when it's new. Depends on the price and what Andrew wants to do. I'll keep you in mind if I find I need something partswise. Funny how life gets in the way of funtime plans.

        vinyl mat for crew cab

        Ron: I purchased my vinyl mat from these guys in late 2010 and I was very pleased with it. There is some trimming to do once it is installed but it looks very "factory". I agree...carpet is for your house or car...not a Power Wagon. The mat came with the sound deadening material to place beneath it but I left it out as I still have some windshield leakage which usually winds up under the mat. Without the sound deadening pad under there, any water that leaks through usually dries out quickly. With the pad acting like a sponge, that water is retained and will rust out a floor pan fairly quickly.

          I can go along with that if it's the jute backing. Not the best thing to use with the slightest chance of water getting to it. I wondered if it came with that backing. I thought of using Lizard Skin or the peal and stick type of sound deadening under the mat. I would think you'd want something for rough or sharper edges to protect the vinyl. Also to provide some cushion. I think this truck had a mat originally but it still rusted out the floor pans on the drivers side front and back. Rust never sleeps.

            Vinyl mat backing

            Mine came with the pad separate from the vinyl mat. You could use it or not use it since it wasn't attached. I didn't put anything under the mat. Don't notice much difference in noise. It's not too loud inside the cab without the pad other than the noise coming from worn out transmission bearings which I plan to remedy before too long.

              I got a reply from that outfit saying they don't have a pad for a 75 crew due to not having a special mold to make one. Do you have a part number or for what year did you order?

                75 Crew floor mat

                Ron: If you send me your email address to dcoston@frontier.com , I can forward the email I received from Aardvark Motors back in January 2011 stating how to order the vinyl mat. I would assume that they still have the molds as they were able to produce one for my truck. Could likely be the same molds they use for the carpet.

                      Hi 75 crew, I was reading your post about windshield leakage and I totally agree with you about the jute backing that holds water and rots the floor out from the top. As a matter of fact, EVERY 72-93 generation Dodge truck I have owned has had this problem! I thought I would ask you if you have ever had the front clip off your truck? I am currently working on a 78 d150 clubcab that I pulled the front clip on and I was shocked at the very poor quality control on the factory cowl seams and no use of seam sealer. Of course my floors were rotted from the top down, and no wonder why! I have also owned an 84 dodge for 8 years and the floors were constantly wet after a rain. I never oulled the clip on that truck and I;m certain that is what the problem was. My cowl is so bad now I don't know if I will ever get it leakproof but it will have to be better than what it is now.

                        Wet floors

                        I have never had the cowl off of this truck. It was a former USAF truck and I assume it spent a lot of its life parked in a hangar since it only had 46K miles on it when I bought it and the body was in pretty decent shape with relatively little rust. I built a carport to park it under, since after it rains, if it is parked outside, the floors are always wet and the doors have water in them. This is even after I replaced the window wiping seals on the door windows. After the money I have spent restoring it, I don't want it to rust away in a few years.

                        In the past, I owned both a '75 and a '76 PW Club Cab, both ordered new from the factory, and they both always had wet jute under the floor mats on the passenger side so I would agree with you that it is likely a problem inherent with this generation of Dodge trucks. You may have to build a garage or carport to fix this problem, too.
