How do you remove the door pannels? Do they have the plastic push pins? You just pull them out? Also the window crank, how does that come off?

The door panels are held on with spring metal clips. The door panels need to be pulled off, usually by starting at one corner and gently pulling until the spring clip releases. Then just work your way around the panel with the key word being "gently". Many times, these break during the removal process but they are fairly readily available on eBay and are still produced by Dorman. The window crank comes off by taking the allen screw out of the center and pulling it off the splined shaft. -
I took the door panels off yesterday, those metal clips really hold. I broke two of the plastic pieces that the metal clips attached too.I greased the window regulators and they work fine now, also put new door locks in, its nice to be able to lock my truck now.Comment
