  • Valve guide seals?

Im having problems finding the right valve guide seals, I had them ordered 3 times now. Im still not sure ther are right, they gave me Fel Pro part #SS 70014, is that right? They look different than what I took off. Any help would be great. My truck is a 1976 W100 318.

Do you have your engine apart now? Do you have an old seal as a sample? If I had that much trouble getting the right seals, I think I would show what you have to a good automotive machine shop and have them match what you have.

Why is it that the inside of old truck cabs smell so good?

Motor is out but heads are on, valve covers are off. yes I have the old seals, could the new seals just be the new and improved seals?

Well, put new seals on today, most of the exhaust seals were broken apart. Freeze plugs are next.

Freeze plugs are in, motor is in, just some things to hook up.
