I found a 78 parts truck and I want the dash, its a ac dash. The metal part, from driver side to passenger side. How hard is it to remove? It will fit in my 76 W100?

It's bolted at the bottom and screwed at the top, under the windshield gasket. I'm not sure if it's possible to access those screws with the windshield in place? I've always done it with the windshield out. It will definitely work in your truck. P.S., did you get your torque convertor back in, as well as your engine? Doug

Yes, I got the torque converter back in with 2 tries after talking to you, Thankyou. The motor is in but have to hook up some more stuff today, When I was trying to put the motor back in, I fought that thing for about 1 1/2 hrs. before it gave up and everything lined up right and went in, I hope to finish it today.
