  • Ordering parts

I'm nearing the assembly stage of Bud's (76 W200 CrewCab) refurb. What a pain in the butt it is to sift through the various reproduction parts available. Weather strip and window seals for example. The prices are all over the board with many vendors giving little or no information as to the manufacturers of their parts, or even how many parts are included in the order. Just frustrating. End of rant. Thanks for listening

I suppose the upside is that at least there are some parts available!

Are you able to correspond with them and get any sort of clarification?

Why is it that the inside of old truck cabs smell so good?

Well that certainly is an upside Gordon. Many of the cars that come into my shop have few if any parts available. Unfortunately I rarely allow the time necessary to ferret out the information that most vendors leave out. This project has to be on the road in 9 days.
