  • hello

not sure where to post this, im a new member here, just sold my 85 w150, built 318, 4spd, 6" lift an picked up a 77 dodge power wagon, it's a short box, 360/727/203 combo, plans for it is to swap in a 4spd an np241, or maybe a mild built 727 but the 203 got's to go.. I will also be swapping in a set of 3/4 ton axle's with a set of chevy 56" spring's with chevy hanger's out back an a set of rancho 4" lift springs up front. she dose need some body work but nothing I cant fix :) the inside is very very clean for a 77, has a set of buddy seat's in it.

Why is it that the inside of old truck cabs smell so good?

Not many with those seats are out there.

Sorry you don't like the 203, but the other t-cases you mentioned should work too.

      Welcome to the site!

just not a fan of the full time 4x4 :( the only thing I can say that suck's is finding fender's lol, went to the junk yard to day an every 70's dodge there th fender's there were rotten :( but I guess that's what make's it fun is hunting parts down. I did find a set with a few minor dings that I can fix that have zero rust from a fellow mopar guy in my town so I lucked out. wont be able to start on this ol girl tell I get donw with my little hot rod project which should be in a few weeks. 81 d150 short box.. glad I found a site that dose nothing but power wagon's :) this truck is a new animal compared to my 85 hahah

            Welcome

Lots of helpful advice here on Gordon's forum. The 70's era trucks are gaining popularity around here even though they're not "real power wagons". Don't take it personally just good natured ribbing. Hey they even let me drive in their parades.

I always thought the buddy seats were the side mounted rear seats in club cab trucks.
