My shoulder sealt belts don't spring back like they should when I take them off, is there a way to grease or oil the spring? There has to be something I can do besides get new ones, anybody ever fix these?

servicing is questionable
Most manufacturers advise against lubrication. There's a guy I use to rebuild my old BMW belts, and he does a really fine job.
But, for the low cost of new belts Im not sure it's worth it unless u want to keep the "vintage" stock belt.
