  • 1993 Low in front

I know there are several ways to lift the front end of a first generation diesel that as sagged due to weight of that great engine. I am interested in comments as to what is the best and most economical way to raise the front end back to original factory height. Some ways I am aware of are re-arching the springs, new springs, adding leaves, Caravan springs, and air bags. I am interested in comments as to which approach is the most permanent, difficulty to install, etc.

    Thanks, Reid

To bring back to the OE ride height, simply replace the springs with new OE springs. Otherwise, check out some aftermarket like Superlift or Skyjacker 2" springs.

I had great luck with skyjacker add-a-leaf on the front of my W200/M880. Raised it ~2" and leveled off the truck nicely.
