  • Wheels/Rims: What years are stock 8-lug wheels interchangeable for my 1973 W200?

    As the title asked...?

    I want 16", not 16.5"

Pertaining to Dodge wheels, anything 8-lug (non-dually) from around roughly 1961 until the mid-90's should fit, although the offset/backspacing may be different. I think the 16" wheels (non split-ring) were common from mid 70's on.

    61 to 68 W100/D200/W200 & 61 to 93 (maybe later) D200/W200 used the bolt pattern same as your's.

Also wheels from a Ford from roughly the same era will fit.

GM wheels will not fit, the center hole is too small to clear your Dana 60 rear hub.

THANKS VERY MUCH!! Yeah, I already found out about the GM wheels...AFTER I powder-coated two of them!

Ironically, I have four perfectly good 16.5" wheels in my dad's shop that I can't seem to give away. Nobody wants 16.5"

FWIW the Ford 8-lug wheels went to a metric bolt pattern around 1998 on their trucks, later on their E-series van.

From what I understand the 16.5" tires are getting harder to find, hence no one wants the 16.5" wheels.
