New tires

I put some new tires on my truck thisweek end and while I was at it I painted the rims and finished adapting a set of vintage hubcaps in place of the plastic crap that came with the truck.

Thanks Matt, I was quite pleased with the result. They are early fifties vintage . Now that they have survived the week at freeway speeds, I shall have to polish and repaint them. I've been getting a lot of compliments on them and then one guy who was mad because he needed the caps for his car. I guess you take the bad with the good. I listened to his objections patiently and then, in the nicest way possible; told him to get a life.
