Has anyone removed a stepwell ? I am thinking about removing the right stepwell from a 60 parts truck I have and using it to replace the bad left one in my 59 truck. Right now just eyeballing everything but it lookd like they should swap with a little adjustment.

Looking at my '59 cab it looks like they are pretty close to the same on both sides. The lip at the top where it is spot welded to the floor is a bit different, but all that will take is a bit of cutting and modifying and you should be good. I would think the replacement should be pretty straight forward and easy enough to do. Before you cut I would measure each one dimensionally to make sure they didnt make some strange change that the rest of us might not know about.
