V8 Dodge Oil pump priming tool

Oil pump shaft I ordered for the LA style pump,then the pump would`nt fit onto the A series main cap so I ordered the proper oil pump.
I got the engine assembled and I always like to prime them through the oil pump,so,well,a kind of a butcher job on that new intermediate shaft and the priming is done,I cut the shaft off at the perspected level then ground the teeth off of the gear and it may not look like much but it sure done a wunnerfull job in the priming department.
Now,I think I`ll needs to go and purchase Me a new grinding wheel for the bench grinder.LOLLOLLOLLOL

I made one yrs ago for B/RB, used just the hex end off of intermediate shaft, welded to 24" rod. Worked wonderful, wished I still had it.

YUP,I sure could have used it.LOL
This shaft was the hex style but I sawed it off and the smaller circumference did`nt seem to make any difference on the pump,I was praying that it would`nt be to weak and snap off one of the side ears but it worked just fine.
