    Hi- Does anyone know of a source for "J Nuts"? There are several of these on the fenders/inner fenders of my '59, and here are some pics:

      I have bought them at Fastenall. McMaster Carr or Grainger should also have them. It wouldnt suprise me to find them in the rack of little drawers at the local hardware store too.

          more j-nuts

          all of the previous suggestions +

          ACE or ACO hardware stores, auto paint supply stores... or

          your local bodyshop or .
          dealer body shop probably has a dozen assorted sizes for these, also used for shock installations. BS can probably give u the name of their local nut & bolt supplier if u need more or different hardware

              Depending on what size & application, 5/16 20 or so can be had at NAPA, you just gotta have a counter man.
