  • 318/360 holley 2210 / distributor wiring

    hello,
i have a 67 dodge sweptline for a month now. it has mechanically sound motor smooth and good vac seal. not sure if it original 318 or a later 360. it has a holley 2210 with lots of noise and weak throttle/load problems. thinking maybe bad accel pump or pwr valve. but maybe my HEI distributor is worn out-cam under dist cap is pitted and worn.
i just replaced the ignition control module for the HEI distributor and so i understand the wiring A LITTLE BIT.

i want to maybe put in a used mallory 2 point distributor or similar so i can work with dwell angles and i have a rebuild kit for my holley.

any advice, pics, diagrams very much appreciated.

    thank u.

You have an HEI on a LA mopar engine? A stock Chrysler electronic ignition system would be your best bet. Some here will say Petronix. Either I think will be more stable than a dual point.
