  • Sand Dune or Dodge Truck White

Don Bunn shows 61-64 Sand Dune White and 65-68 Dodge Truck White.
Question is what color were the wheels, bumpers, mirrors etc. on a Sweptline 64 W200 and what white would the body have been? Dodge Truck White is a brite white, yes? I know that TWs continued Sand Dune White to 66.
    Thanks, Gar

that will give you some color ideas. I think pure white and off white were very common.
most of them I've seen the wheels were the same color as the pickup

      Gary,

Go to this page on Phil's site. I have given him some of the dealer paint chip sets and the paint procedures which describe what you are asking about. There is even a dated document telling you about the color change in 1964. You will have to look at the '67 chip set to see the Dodge Truck White. The shades are not necessarily accurate due to age, scanners, and computer monitors. There are paint codes for you in the '68, '69, and '70 TSBs.

I add to this when I get time.

I think there is a TSB in regards to interior color on replacement cabs but I think it is for the larger trucks. I will check later when I have time and let you know if its relevant.

        Kevin and Fred,
Thanks for the info. I have seen the paint chip site. Very helpful.
My client says he painted his 64 W200 Arctic White. All I have seen is Arctic Blue. Perhaps it is not a Dodge color. Very brite white. Oh well a moot point now.
        Thanks,
        Gary
