Thanks for responding, but the item was outbid. I did find an outfit in Atlanta that wants $500. Thought was more than I wanted to spend. Any ideas about where to look and approximate cost?Comment

I can think of a few places in California; Recarbco in the SF bay area,
and Pacific Carburetor in Ventura. It should be no more than $300 to have a single barrel rebuilt, even if they had to supply the core. I've had Recarbco rebuilt 3 or 4 single barrels for me, I don't think any were over $225. I've never used Pacific, but several friends have used them and were happy.Comment
