  • d700 dump truck trans and bell picts.

Hi any body have photos of a c700 bell and flywheel for the 361 or know if they are the same as in the d300-600?

Are we talking about the same years?

Why is it that the inside of old truck cabs smell so good?

The bellhousing I have was out of a 72 d600 and the listing for the C700 has no year listed but it looks like a 1966 to 1975.

Admittedly, this opinion is based on supposition, but I think they would be the same. Hopefully others will comment.

How about a Hollander interchange manual?

As for D500/D600 the bells changed with the 74 model. Pre 74 bells had window on passenger's side for the hydraulic actuated clutch fork, 74-77 bells had window on both sides but used the driver's side & had mechanical clutch.

I am not familiar with what a C700 would have.

Author Don Bunn did a book on the Dodge big rigs, it may have some information about them.

I did a little search and It is a C/CT 700 361 Dump truck 1961-1971 style if that helps.
