My last Sweptline was a 61 D300 with a slant 6. it got comparable mileage to a diesel. 15 mpg at 65 mph, and 17 mpg at 57 mph. 4.88 gears and 19.5s tires. you cant tow the same but much less expensive to maintain and hauls lots of bed weight really well. mopar gas engines are super reliable things.
