1968 power wagon cab.

Hey guys. New to the site. Just bought my first power wagon. It's a 1968 w300. The cab is pretty well shot. The previous owner cut the entire back off the cab and attempted to lengthen it , did not go very well.

I was wonder what year trucks are the same body style as mine. I've found a 1969 w300.. The guy called it a swept line.


Any info would be great. Thanks.

Congratulations and welcome to the fun!

Your W300 is a Sweptline Body Truck, and any year between 1961 and 1971 will work. Items like Doors changed (handles), and some dash differences but the same wonderful Series of Dodge Trucks.

The '67 & '68 Crew Cabs would be best to use, as Dodge went to
mechanical clutches in '69, which changed the pedals, etc.. The
'66 & earlier cabs could be considered, but they came with the
early refrigerator handle doors with different latches/strikers. You
could look at a 200 series cab, but would have to re-do the floor
around the drive line tunnel.
