so my 67 doors are pretty shot so i found some earlier doors (65?) and after bolting them up i noticed the strikers are different. so i looked at the donor truck today and its a lot different. is my only choice to cut jam area out and replace? thanks

61-66 doors were the same (frigerator style exterior handle), then came the 67-71 doors (pushbutton exterior handle).
Seems like the interior handle set-up changed one year off from the exterior handle & striker. I think the 67 doors were the oddball ones, having the same interior handle as the 61-66, but having the same exterior handle as the 68-71 doors. Thus 67 doors were a one year set-up in reference to door latches.
