It's a Power Wagon?

Hello experts,

Is this a heavy modified Power Wagon? Front windows, wiper arrangement, door shape is different from PW's i found on internet.
If yes, guess i will by it and to convert to original design.....

Definitely has some core Power Wagon DNA in it. How much is still there would be interesting. Personally though I don't think I'd try and restore it to original. Someone put a lot of time in that conversion, it doesn't look like a hack job, and it's unique enough I'd just leave it alone.

Looks more like a Volvo TP21 (Sugga) to me

windshield looks like a Volvo Sugga to me, which (correct me if i'm wrong) was designed after the WC's of WWII.

These are great trucks i've been looking for one here in Canada, but they're pretty rare, most people import Unimogs instead.

they had front / rear airlockers too (if memory served)

Hey Jake, yeah but how much is he asking for it? The last one that i saw in Canada that was for sale, the guy wanted $10k (cad) and it was in really poor shape.I can only imagine that a nice one would bring in.If you have pictures and a price, send them over.

sugga for sale

I also thought they used a volkswagon cab untill I looked at the interior, the interiot looks quite different than any vw I've ever seen.

This sugga was brought over from sweden and is original and runs great, i've seen it several times at local car shows. He is asking 65,000.00 for it.

No, that's a VW cab, the dash is pure VW, with a sheetmetal overlay. Look past the sides of the overlay, it's a stock VW dash and cab and doors.

Wondered who'd figure it out...

Even though Norm won't let me into the Sweptline website, I agree with him about the VW. I have breakfast every morning with the owner of a serious VW restoration business. He drives a classic bug. His place is called "Bug Acres" and we are amazed how much there is in common with these old vehicles and the people who want to get them back on the road.

We haven't compiled any statistics, but we agree that the single greatest common problem is that people are willing to lose money making bad buys but no one will "BUY THE BOOK" that answers many of their questions and will save them money in the long run.

And, YES, I have learned there are Power Wagons that do not have truncated cylindrical front fenders. I have two 1965 D100's, one 1967 W100, and one 1970 W200. And the W100 Sweptline is a Utiline!

Thanks to all for their useful information, it really seems that this vehicle has a VW cabin. But it's then a Dodge WC originally? Powertrain looks so, but engine is a diesel (Ford?)...

I say VW as well. I could see it right off. Very well done. I'll bet it has better heat then the bug did. Jim
