One stout horse, 23 leaf springs on each side of the rear end, I've put plenty of very heavy things on it and it's never sagged a bit. It originally had a core drill mounted on it for soil testing, still has the 1/4" diamond plate bed with toolboxes in front of the wheels. I just put a rack on it to haul firewood. they told me there was nowhere this truck wouldn't go and I believe them. My beast is an ongoing project, as are most but a pleasure to work on and drive. Gets lots of attention where ever it goes. Thanks so much for knowledge wisdom and comraderie on this site, a wonderful place to share relics from days gone by.
