M Virus catching....

My brother-in-law just bought this 1952 M37 at an auction in Montana.

I don't know what he paid for it, but he's planning on using it on his ranch.

Looks in pretty good shape from the pic you have there Bobby. Great find. It's great that he got one with a winch (worth so much more). Everything looks there except the top and a few pounds of air in that front tire. Say, what's that hanging off the side rail there, I can't make it out..?

Just curious, is that pic taken at the auction site or your brothers ranch..?

Looks like an antenna mount. Does that make it an M-42?

Well, unless his brother bought two, I'd say that the pic is from the auction...

That's at the auction. Here's what he wrote to me recently,

"Michael,

For your data collection on these vehicles, mine was $5,200. I'll send
you a bunch of
photos when I drag it back from the auction site later this week. I got
the matching
trailer as well, complete with auxilary fuel tank in case things really
get rough.
