  • 1967 PW 300 Fire Truck

This truck belongs to the PA Forestry Museum Association here in PA (between Gettysburg and Chambersburg PA). It was one of ten that that PA Forestry Service bought in 1967. My job is to restore it to its origional condition for the museum when it opens in a year or two. Looking for any information, help or what ever you would like to do to help me to restore it for the museum. Also trying to locate the other nine trucks.

Let us know if we can help

Check out our web site below, lots of pictures of various restoration projects. Currently have a Cummins repower project in progress on a civilian PW like the one you have pictured. Will have pictures of it on the sight when the project is finished.

            Nice Truck!

That's a nice looking truck, Ray... And a good-looking green M-37 in the background, too. Wish I could quit my job and help you with the restoration, you're not too far from me. Good Luck, and the great bunch of guys on this site can help with just about anything, info-wise -- they're a veritable fount of knowledge!

Newspaper article about fire truck restorers

Ray, there's an article in today's Harrisburg Patriot-News about guys who restore antique firetrucks. They might be able to provide help as well -- there's a group called Pennsylvania Pump Primers Association, and their website is:

              www.geocities.com/pumpprimer

              Good Luck...
