It is interesting to me that they don't have a cover on that gun....

Why is it that the inside of old truck cabs smell so good?

I did think about that, but the snow on the truck suggested to me that they were not. Unless they were in a hurry, which certainly is possible.

          Gordon:

But it IS much cleaner than the Jeep, which to me, suggests useage. Also, there's not much if any snow on the gun. And jest one more point, if ya know things may be popping around you at any time, you really don't want to be messin with covers.

I think Ugg pretty much nailed it. Looks like that truck was recently parked there, tire tracks to me look like it was backed into that spot.

              Hey Chris:

Where'd ya get that picture? That just may be a cut and paste job. I was finally able to zoom in, and there seems to be things that just don't fit. Then again, it may be fade, but the MG's background is different than the other stuff.

It's not that hard to take the cover off, or shoot through it. However a cover would first have to be issued...

                  Hi Ugg,
The first photo was from the Australian War Memorial web site from memory.
Here is another photo, (not from the AWM)
                  Cheers
