Since I first started working on Dodge Power Wagons in 1987, my goal has been to make these trucks as safe and reliable as possible while at the same time preserving their basic character. For a long time there were not a lot of upgrades or options available for the old Dodge Power Wagons. But in the last decade there has been a great increase in the number of aftermarket products available to the hot rod and restoration communities.

In 2015 I founded Highland Automotive with the intent of making these modern automotive products available to the Power Wagon community. Below are some of the systems we have developed for Dodge Power Wagons and WC military trucks.

Power Brake Kits
We offer kits to mount a vacuum powered or hydro powered booster and dual master cylinder under the cab of your WDX-WM Power Wagon, using your original brake pedal. Vacuum kits include bracket and hardware, vacuum booster, dual master cylinder, and miscellaneous hydraulic fittings. Hydro-boost kits currently include the bracket and mounting hardware, with additional parts to be available soon. Both kits can be used with either disc or drum brakes.

Hydraulic Clutch Kits
This kit allows you to install a V8 engine and hydraulic bellhousing in your truck using the original clutch pedal. Fits WDX-WM Power Wagons and Dodge 3/4 ton and 1-1/2 ton Dodge WC trucks. The kit includes a mounting bracket and hardware, hydraulic master cylinder, remote hydraulic reservoir, and new clutch pedal shaft. The kit allows room for a NP420 w/PTO and NP435 w/PTO.

Power Steering Kits
We offer kits to install a Saginaw power steering box to the frame of your WDX-WM Power Wagon, and Dodge 3/4 ton and 1-1/2 ton WC Trucks. Kits include a heavy steel bracket, reverse rotation power steering box, misc hydraulic fittings, mounting hardware and installation instructions.

12v Wiper Motors
Upgrade your existing or missing vacuum wiper motors with our powerful electric wiper kit. These motors fit Dodge WDX-WM style Power Wagons, Dodge WC 1/2 ton and 3/4 ton closed cab models, and 1939-1947 Dodge civilian trucks. Kits include 2 heavy duty wiper motors, wiper arms and blades, and detailed installation instructions. Suitable for use in rain, sleet, and snow.
