Beginning next week, I will begin disassembling my '48 B-1-PW. I'll be selling everything except the body. My goal is to sale all of it at one time as I know it will bless someone and I don't want to scrap any of it.
The frame is straight and rust free. This truck spent it's life as a fire truck on the eastern dry side of Washington state and didn’t get worked as hard as most PW"s. There was no wench with the truck.
It had been in dry storage for several years before I bought it and I was able to start it up with a fresh battery. Drove it around the lot and on my trailer with no problems. Fired it up and drove it off once here in Boise. Started it once more a few days later to move it around a building. Everything is original with the 230 flathead engine.
Wanted to let all of you know first before I post it on Power Wagon Advertiser once I remove the body.
Any suggestions as to a fair price of what I should sell it for are welcome.
