  • Need Carb float

I am looking for a good float for a Carter BB carb. I've got one on a 57 230 that has a crack in it. Napa says not serviced anymore. Anyone have an old carb laying around with one of these or a source?

Hey Ron, why not solder up the crack? It's a brass float, right?

Dave I did solder it but don't want any problems down road. The crack was across the length of one side of the two piece float. I used a soldering gun so I didn't disturb the original joint. I've got several leads on floats now thanks.
