Interchangeability question.

I have come across a fellow with a 1959 D-300 who is looking for a new rear axle housing. He saw GUS' centered rear diff and thinks that is just what he needs, not realizing it is actually WC 1/2 ton. He says he has 4.11 posi gears so I am wondering just what axle housings will work for him.

Thats a good question, My mind is telling me the Power Giant is a narrower rear axle housing than 61-71. I will try and get time to do some measuring.
