Hello all!!! I just made reservations for June at the Super 8 in Fairfield for the VPW Rally. I am so excited as this will be my first. I've read the previous posts and I am encouraged to attend even though I do not own a Power Wagon yet. I do have a 2003 3500 SLT Cummins 4-door 4x4 that I really love and use it to pull a 5th wheel. Good to hear there is a new medic around. This forum is one giant mass casualty incident. We have all fallen victim to the same sickness...Power Wagon fever.
Welcome to the forums and I look forward to meeting you in Iowa. The rally is like an intravenous slow drip of old Dodge trucks and a bolus of really good people...

And don't worry about not having a Power Wagon at the rally... I've gone 5 times so far and have yet to take a truck...
But you never can tell what happens and I've driven trucks in the parade several times now thanks to some pretty special friends!!

I can't wait...
Jill, I thought about that....but, I may be coming by myself. I'm trying to talk my oldest step son in to going. He'll be graduating high school in May. Unfortunately, he's a Ferd man.... Anyway, I can get 18 on the highway or 12.5 mpg pulling the camper.... I'm considering the trade offs.
As for the injuries.... I hope the only thing there is to deal with is a hangover.....Thanks, MikeComment
