Thanks! We had wanted to go but it just didn't work out. Have to live vicariously through you... :)

In frame #93 on the trailride, the yellow PW, is that the fellow who bought it new & fitted it over the years for his liking? Seems like he was an older fellow with a name like Orr or something? Hadn't seen that truck for a while.

I wish we had some conversation before this, I had planned on going, but before I knew it, it was to late. I have seen quite a few pics the were posted on fb by Melissa, I gotta make it one of these days, if for nothing else, just to shake Gordon's hand.
On another note my truck roared to life today, surprised the "you know what out of me! :D

              We missed you Kevin

You missed out on my record time of 6.96 seconds on the teeter board. Todd Summers was here representing NC and did a fine job. Hope you are getting settled in at your new home.

Thanks Ron. We are settling in just fine. Living among the tall pines, the mountains, and the rivers is a good fit for me. It seems I had been lacking a sense of adventure for a while this place brought it back.

I plan to make it up to Iowa next June and I'll likely bring a few more Carolinians along with me.

On the subject of teeter boards...6.96 sounds awful hard to beat. I think I'll let well enough alone and find a quiet corner to suck my thumb while you guys battle it out for 6.95

                  Hey Doc!
It was great to finally meet you and your truck. I really wasn't sure I was gonna make it this year, but it was worth the effort.

I believe you, and a few others, voiced an interest in visiting the Rockies or Moab, and meet some of the RMHC tribe. It seems we are all overdue for some adventure. Please contact me with a time-table and we can try to put something together.

                  Cheers!

                      Dave,
It was a real pleasure meeting you in person, and your famous truck! Also enjoyed meeting Tim Ellis.
Yes I am very interested in doing a RMHC trip. It will have to be in 2013 or 14 as this year has been a blur....my business partner had to retire unexpectedly due to the onset of a tragic illness.
Is July or August the usual times you go to the high country?

                              Doc,

Sorry to hear of your business partners turn of misfortune. I guess you never really know whats around the next bend.

September is really nice at elevation, and its not a stretch, at that time of year, to spend a few days there and a few days in Moab. I sure am looking forward to some time off.

This year it will depend on when I can get my ARB's installed. The time has come.
