  • Missing thread

I am unsure as to what happened, but we have had a thread disappear. It was the one that Jens started it with a great, long list of lodging information, and then others posted with related information.

Jens, please post again, and those others who participated, please jump in again.

I an looking at some other angles with regard to how this thread could have been deleted, but have no good answer as I write this.

Why is it that the inside of old truck cabs smell so good?

No, I didn't find anything in Iowa. LOL

The snow stopped at Walcot, Iowa. We still have it at our place.

              Jill:

Is that from TODAY? We got 18" up in Uggville, and most of it on the ground is gone now. Went out to look at the Beast. What a mess. 8>(

No, that was from November 30th. We still have most of it on the ground. It rained yesterday, so in the low spots (where water would sit) no snow, but everywhere else, still snow.

                  Snow!

I feeling left out! I keep hearing about snow But for some reason It can't make to Indy. Drats! heck it's been 60 degrees here and rain?? Where's the snow for us? I'm glad Jill took pic I almost forgot what it looked like.hehe
My kids got a new sled and snow board last year and all I hear, When is it going to snow? I want to go sleding and snowboarding. Is it winter time Daddy? I look at them, And say Yep! I think were in some warm warp hole. my oldest said :Like in Jimmy Neutron? Yeah kinda like in that.(I replied) So my oldest son goes we can make snow like in Jimmy Neutron, Out of sun block. I was lost in that conversation for a minute then 2 days later I seen that flick of Jimmy's. He turns around and looks at me and said LIKE THAT! I don't think we can buddy, but hopefully it will come someday soon.

It was the smilies. Or rather lack of smilies. They got upset at being deleted and have ganged up to get revenge. Now you went and done it Gordon.....

Speaking of smilies, the Jeep crowd has their own smiley. It wears a 5 o'clock shadow. I think we as Power-Wagon owners need our own smiley too. Maybe we can take a vote and establish our own specific Power-Wagon smiley. I nominate one wearing a blank glassy eyed stare and cheeks smeared with used gear lube. Or maybe one with the look of lust in the eyes and a Cheshire Cat grin?

How about it. Any more ideas?

NOTE: Train is Always late traveling from the west !
I highly recommend getting on the
bottom level of a sleeping car
(the bottom level moves less, you will sleep better)
I Do not under any circumstances recommend trying
to sleep in a coach seat.
However if you do try this,
see us in the VPW office for a list of
                          good chiropractors in the area.
