It's a patent for a compound NP435 transmission. A shaft change and a couple gear swaps later and now you have 12? usable gears and a 14% overdrive for a light duty truck. Granted, this was before the NV and FSO series, but what an idea! He makes a comparison to the ZF and the Getrag, and the other four speeds of the day. I'd love to see the prints.
