  • Snake River power steering conversion

Recently got the M running. While turning the wheel back and forth I noticed that on a left hand turn it isn't getting all the way to the stop. Seems the drag link is hitting on the front steering box bolt. Is this common or is the angle of my mount incorrect? Any input would be appreciated. Thanks.

It was in my case, I think the bracket needs to lean back a little more, but once you have it on, it's too late to change. I shaved the front edge of the bolt head, and added a lock nut on top of the box for safety.

    I drive a DODGE, not a ram!

    Thanks,
    Will

I don't have any sheet metal on, so I could redo it but... I was thinkin' the same thing. Either shave the bolt head or even counter sink the front bolt with an Allen Head screw. Are there internal stops in this box?
