Can a GM HEI be converted to work in a 230? I heard a rumor but can't find anything on it. Found it for a GM 230, but can it work in the Dodge?

Yes. If you like to do things yourself rather than buy someone else's conversion, the links below will get you started. I have adapted a slant six electronic distributor to work in my 230. Most of the information can be found at the links below. This is a pricier way of getting the job done, but I have the satisfaction of having done it myself, and understanding how my ignition system functions. Works great, too.
