Wheel and Tires for M880

I just bought a 77 M880 with the 8 bolt 9.5x16.5 wheel/tire combination. I love stance the truck has with this setup. I'm not sure if anyone else is having this problem but tire choices are getting pretty scarse for that size, I've found 2 tires one is a street tire and one is a mud terrain. Is there a wheel/tire combination I can go to that would keep the truck sitting the same?

You can easily run 16" wheels and tires on your truck since half sizes are harder to find. With 16" you have many more choices. I have a set of aluminum rims and 85 series tires on my 64 Townwagon that are taller than the 8.75 x 16.5's it came with.

Would a set of 16" wheels off of a 85 Dodge D250 work on my truck? They are the 6.5" 8 lugs but I'm not sure what the center hole and backspace would be on the 80s trucks. I've been told 80-97 Ford 230/350 8 lugs would work?
