Has anybody put propane injection on their diesel? I have instructions for a do it yourself kit that costs less than $100 to install, minus the tank. It is adjustable for different injection rates from the turbo pressure. Basically it operates when you accelerate to increase power and increase mpg. I know Jimmie plans to use a witches brew in his and wonder if anyone else has thouths or experience with this.

Propane injection?

Charlie Aarons up in Alaska added propane injection to his Hercules DT3.7 powered M37 years ago and was very happy with the setup. I have some notes on his instal (brand, etc.) in my files somewhere... He said that it really helped his truck get over the hump caused by the wide gap between third and fourth gear in his Clark 280VO ... I forget how much he figured he gained in HP, but I do know that he posted some very meticulous data on the www.dodgepowerwagon.com forum when he did the instal including cost of fuel (diesel and propane), mpg comparisions between propane and non-propane enhanced driving, and daily and trip driving impressions. I want to say it was around forum 10 or 15, but it has been a while...
I thought originally about adding the setup to my Cummins powered M37, but have since decided that I really like the truck's performance just as it is... (105hp, 286lb-ft backed by a ZF S5-42 with 4.89 gears and Michelin 900r16XZL and four wheel discs...)
