I have room for campers here, but the motels do fill up early
for the weekend, and I haven't stayed in the new holliday inn that
    is in town now.

Several museums in town, Marty Robbins, and Rex Allen to name a couple.
The rodeo, carnival, car show are also taking place.

Scouted out the Middle March Road that Fred has proposed using for the Sunday cruise over to Tombstone today. Road is in generally good condition for an Arizona gravel road. I could get my Lincoln over it no problem, but it would get very dusty.

The proposed 4x4 sidetrip road to China Peak is passable, although it has not had as much traffic as I supposed it would be getting. Got the F350 crew cab in as far as we wanted to, but a shorter wheelbase would have been easier. 4x4 would be a good idea on this side trip, but I could get a regular pickup in there if I had to. "Desert Racing Stripes" are likely to result from brush, so "show and shine" trucks will want to stay on the main road. Views are spectacular.

Suggest we decide what we want to do based on who actually shows up with what. The Crystal Palace over in Tombstone is where I would suggest everyone meeting after touring the town, and I can call them the day before if we decide to go as a group. I have done a group event there in the past, and it was a lot of fun.
