  • Headin for the mountains

This weekend (9/2 through 9/4 or 5) GUS, Kayla and I will be wheelin in the Keystone / Breckenridge area. Sort of last minute thang, but if you wanna go, give me a shout. It will be a work/play weekend, but I plan to wheel all Saturday and most of Sunday. Gonna try to get Carl and the WC-11t3 to swing over but that may not happen.

E-mail at wyogus1@yahoo.com. Will be heading down Wednesday or Thursday.

    Later,

    Mountains

Have a great time in the peaks. Denise and I will be going to the Fort Bridger Mountain Man Rendezvous - the best in the world. The cannon shoot is the most fun you'll have with your pants on.

We're going to Cedar City in late September to do some wheeling at the Three Peaks area.

      Cannon shoot

Hey Dave, how was the wheeling last weekend?

A picture of the cannon shoot at the Fort Bridger, Wyoming Mountain Man Rendezvous. This is at Jim Bridger's original trading post in SW Wyoming.

        Russ,

No other trucks showed up, but Willis Jackson and his buddy Mel came up on Saturday. We all rode in GUS for a long day of high altitude scenery and truck talk. Came up on a herd of Rocky Mt. Goats too! I hope my pix turn out. Willis has digital, so he may post first.

I was there from last Wednesday until yesterday AM. We wheeled every day after work! Just short runs of a few hours each, but it's all good...except for the part Friday night, where I almost rolled GUS down the mountain.....

Looks like you had fun too!

Sorry Dave somehow my post didn't show up in the right spot. Didn't mean to confuse.

Yes, you gotta watch that sort of thing...at this stage of the game, I'm pretty easy to confuse!
