        Hi Nollie,
So how was the truck show? Were there many Power Wagons? Got any pictures?

          GSO NC Show

          Tim,

No Power Wagon's this time. We had 65 Antique Trucks, 8 of which were Mopar products. Oldest was really nice 1937 Plymouth Pickup, then a 47 Dodge Pickup, only 4x4's were 2 Military M37's, one with Diesel engine. I had my 73 C800 Dodge Fire Truck, plus some other late 70s & 80s Dodges.

Spoke with several Dodge people, one interesting person from Virginia. He owns several Power Wagons, M37s & M43s. Spends a lot of time in Alaska and talked about the Dodge 4x4's he found their, plus NOS parts he's found in Alaska. Hoping to get up with him soon and see his collection.

Great day and everyone seem to have a good time.
Hope you can join us one day.
Photos available, if you want to contact me direct.

I forgot to take my camera (just too much running around the house that morning...), but I am talking to one of the NCMVPA club members who was there with his camera in hopes that I can get copies of his photos to post. His truck was in the paint shop, else we would have had another stock M37 in the show... Next year...

For that matter, you missed the M37 out in the parking lot with the 318 under the hood. They parked next to the Pinzguar (sp?) that also managed to not enter the show gates for some reason...

One of these days, I will find an ATHS member with a rig big enough to haul my stock M37 and XM708 to the show while I follow in my Cummins powered M37 so I can show off all three of my Dodges...

              Photos

              Hi Cabell,

I'll send you what photos I took also.

Didn't see the M37 outside(on other side of building), only time I got around that way was when I drove the Fire Truck around for the slow race, it was gone by that time or at least I didn't see it.

              More later,

              Nollie
