lots of trails...
i haven't seen any mushers around here...
cacophony of yelping dogs, pulling in harness, is probably a natural
alternative to the sound of snowmobiles

highland rec has two sporting dog training courses, i wonder if they are
restricted to only training bird dogs, one is extremely large, with many rolling hills.

I run them from my house. I live beyond the pavement so packed snow on a dirt road works well. In the past when we had some of my daughter's birthday parties at home I used the driveway to give the children short rides on the sled. Little kids really love being pulled in a sled by the dogs. I would have myself and a parent at both ends to stop and turn around the dogs. See pic of my driveway.

Hi, everyone. Sorry I have been away. I have had some medical/personal issues.... and taking some evening classes at the community college, and driving a lot to Flint to see my pregnant daughter, and spending a lot of weekend time working on a charity fundraiser, and trying to get photos in a couple exhibits; it has been uhm, welll, overwhelming and frustrating. Not normal for a happy, easygoing person like me. I like being busy, but the personal issues stuff has had me kinda depressed.

Anyway, I didn't mean to post all my troubles.... I hate that I missed the get-together. I hope we can try again next month! Let me know what you are up to, and I will get back into the forum like a good girl should.
