O.M.R.O. Mud Drags July 5th, 2008 - Pana IL

Well, I should know better, but was looking for some fun, and there was a Mud Drag only 50 min. from the house. So I loaded up the M and went.

Well the track wasn't nearly muddy enough, and I out weighed the competition, they were almost half the M's weight, and almost all of them had an automatic. Well I ran two classes, Stock and Altered Stock, I backed out of the Modified as I knew there was no chance once I saw the trucks.

It was a blast, but I won't put the M through that punishment again. Slipped the clutch a little too much on launches as the ground was so dry there was no real wheel slip.

Tail Gate and Shoulder Harness buckles. The camera is mounted on the 1" canvas tube that was setting in the cab door surround holes, and I also forgot to put a strap on it to keep it from wiggling. I also noticed some bed floor oil canning with out the tool box setting in the bed.
