Short run through a couple of towns for a show off drive
about 50 miles total.

If you want to drive in the parade, let me know and I'll make arrangments.
It's called the Rex Allen Days parade

Have area that you can tent or park campers,
Several hotels in Willcox.

Sat.
Watch or be in the parade, go for a 50 mile drive
then meet up around 1-1:30 for lunch, hot dogs and hamburgers,
while looking over everyones rig and visiting.


Got tell October to have em ready.

please let me know now and keep me updated if you can come
so there will be plenty of hot dogs and such.

1961-1971 Sweptline & Utiline ONLY?

July 11, 2007, was the last time you announced an event in the Events Forum. It was associated with REX ALLEN DAYS in Wilcox, AZ, in October 2007.

You have announced this event for October 2009, in the W-Series Forum. Does this mean that only 1961 - 1971 W-Series Dodge Power Wagons are invited?

Of course not! I believe you did the same thing many folks on the PWA forums do and just stuck your post in a forum where you happened to be browsing when you remembered about that event.

Don’t worry, there are a lot more folks who post in the wrong place. The only reason I saw your announcement was that I have started on the refurbishment of my ’67 W100 and went to this forum to get some information.

I have been interested in this event for some years, but have never been able to work it into my schedule. I was stationed at Fort Huachuca in the seventies and still go out that way on vacation.

Maybe you will get more response if you post in the Events Forum. Good Luck!

First started with 61-71, but needs to expand to Old Dodge
I need to mention it more o see if there will be interest,
looks as Hank will bring his Power Wagon from Tucson to be in the parade.
I may have my D-500 going by then.
Try to make it this year, nothing went on last year, well one pickup from Pheonix.

Bump it up again.


Have the run for on road pickups & 4x4s
few miles freeway and the rest secondary roads
through a couple of small towns, after the parade on Sat.
then back to hotdogs and visiting.
Still trying to find a 4x4 trail -- how about a Friday or Sunday drive to Tombstone and have dinner?
You could look for rattle sankes and cactus to puncture your tires


Town has motels (Willcox)
I provide hamburgers and hotdogs at home 16 miles form town
am going to clear an area for swaps or swap meet.
Have several parts for 61-71 pickups that I'm getting rid of.
So bring your swaps.
