  • My family has driven Mopars since the early 1900's.

I can say Mopars have been the "vehicle of choice" for my family since my Dad's great-great grandfather bought a Dodge touring car sometime in the 1920's. My teething was done on the shifter knob of a Hurst shifted 69 Dart 340 Swinger with 4 speed stick and 4.10 gears in the 8 3/4 rear end.
The first car I "remember" my family having was a 72 Dart (which replaced the 69 due to an accident). 1976 was the year Dad bought his first pick-up and it was (what else?), a Dodge. My folks have had a Dodge or two in their possession all of my life and I just followed suit. They just "feel right" to me. Sitting in a Dodge is like putting on a comfortable jacket or pair of shoes. And I can't say any Dodge my parents or I have ever owned ever let us down.

    Dad's Dodge pick-ups:
    76 D100
    79 D100
    86 W150
    02 2500 CTD 4x4

    My Dodge Pick-ups:
    76 D100 (Dad's first truck)
    92 Dakota 4x4 w/318
    96 1500 4x4
    75 W100
