  • Weekend trail ride

This past weekend was the first time I had a chance to get my truck out and work it some. I was very skeptical in whether or not it would come back on a trailer. It performed very well and we all had a great weekend. It did help quite a bit that my 46 WDX is roughly 18 inches shorter than your standard Power Wagon. I did discover that the front bumper could use some modification, my approach angle is not what it needs to be.

Maybe some Wyoming Whiskey would give a different angle on your approach...

Dave, that could have helped my angle quite a bit, I removed the stock round top carburetor and replaced it with a Weber two barrel the morning before the trail ride started. The Wyoming Whiskey on top of that would have done one of two things, made the 46 a rocket ship, or broke it early into the ride. Either way It would have been fun!

Sounds like you had a good time and your truck stayed together for you.
And that's quite the compliment on the WDX, as I'm sure you were trying to keep up with the "FunTon"HA HA!
