  • deluxe cab window vent rubber...treatment? of

I am restoring my power wagons doors now. The vent window of the deluxe cab, had a lot of paint overspray on the rubber portion.
This occurred apparently from a prior attempt at painting the vehicle by a previous owner.
After getting this paint off, the rubber is intact but is quite dull in color.
Should this be treated in some way, for example with an Armor-All like product, to restore some shine to it?

I'm not a big fan of Armor all. It seems like a band-aid fix.

There is a product called super rubber rejuvenator that will restore the original texture and color of rubber. It is used in the printing industry on rubber rollers and blankets. Any printing supply house will have it. It is made by a company called Varn. I think you will like the results.

Google Varn Super Rubber Rejuvenator and take a look.

I Googled it and it sounded like the real deal for rubber.
I will talk to a guy I know at my church who is a printer, to see if I can buy a small quantity from him. When I googled it, I saw many links where they sell it by the gallon for about $45, and I do not need that much.
      Thanks for the heads up.
